Awele holds a Bachelor of Arts, Finance from Manhattanville College New York. She is also an M.B.A graduate as well as a Masters holder in Accountancy from the Zicklin School of Business City University of New York. Prior to joining Emval, she had acquired over 17 years of professional experience in corporate America and Nigeria, covering financial analysis, audit and consultancy services, as well as human resource & non-profit management from renowned organizations such as Global Kids Inc. (New York), Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. (New York), Reuters America (New York), KPMG Professional Services (Nigeria) and Ovie Brume Youth Center (Nigeria).

Awele joined Emval in 2006 as its Chief Financial Officer and has been leading its efforts ever since to streamline and enhance its accounting and financial functions.
